Customer View

This tour is following the flow of the Video Demo's which is a more complete account. If you are not visually impaired or hearing impaired then viewing the videos would be a better way to continue the tour. Video demos.

The "Customer View" page is probably on of the most important pages that there is in Atemis. Like the Admin Index page there are a number of tabs. I will cover all these on this page. First lets have a look at a customer's record:-

Customer View

You will notice that we have shoved the tabbed area a little to the right to make way for a table of customer details, that we feel is probably important to always have infront of you as you speak to the customer. You would not want to forget the customer's name mid-conversation.

So lets have a look at the first tab in the image, it is labelled "Orders (7)", straighforwardly the number represents the amount of orders that the customer has. The orders are listed along with the order id, the status of the order, the time the order was added, and the value of the order. The next tab is "tickets" and this simply shows those tickets which are linked in some way to the customer.

Customer View, Tickets Tab

So when one of your Staff talk to a customer it makes sense that there should probably be a record of the conversation somewhere. Even if it was dealt with to the satisfaction of all involved. This is what the customer notes tab is showing. The notes are split into two, because sometimes after speaking to the customer you will have some information that the next member of staff is really going to want to know. So the top item on the tab is pink, and that indicates that the note is an "Essential" note. If a customer was abusive, or perhaps starting a legal action, then you would have a place on the system to warn the member of staff who answers the call.

Customer View, Notes Tab

The following tab is simply used to add a note to the notes tab.

Customer View, Add Note Tab

The final tab is simply a list of all the gift lists that the customer has started. This indicates that although the customer may not have made any orders, they may well be a very important customer, as they may be responsible for many sales.

This is the end of the tour of Atemis, for now.
