What is Atemis?
Atemis was built to fill the requirements of eBay power sellers in the UK, who need a unified IT solution for their business.
It consists of four modules:
- An interface to eBay
- Warehouse operations
- Customer management
- A web site
A key feature of Artemis is a modular security system which allows you to restrict access to eBay for different members of staff. For instance, you could have a staff member able to add a listing on eBay, but only allow them to alter the postage costs, or the description, or the images. This will allow you to delegate routine admin tasks to junior staff, thus freeing senior management to work on business development.
In Artemis, wherever possible routine administrative tasks are automated.
For instance, the re-keying of addresses into a couriers' computer system can occupy an employee for a significant amount of time. If the courier allows automation with their system, and provides adequate information, Artemis will eliminate this job. This eliminates errors in delivery addresses other than those made by the customer.
